The Queen of the Z’nus is a fictional space empress in the Naked-Verse. The character was created by Illya King.

Creation and concept

The character was first imagined as an amorphous blob in 1997. The concept was revised as a humanoid woman in an ashcan Zetaman comic in 2009. The Queen was finally introduced as the main antagonist in Holly Wood: Space Diva.

Publication History

The Queen of the Z’nus first published appearance is in Holly Wood: Space Diva. She rules the Z’nu Empire and plans to dominate the galaxy for resources. The Queen next appeared in Zetaman: The Multiverse, which occurred before Space Diva. The Z’nu Armada attempt an invasion of Earth until she is stopped by Zetaman and The Alternates.

Due to her encounter with both Zetaman and Holly Wood, The Queen has an intense dislike of humans.

Alternative versions

On Earth Gamma, The Z’nu Empire were a lethal alien force determined to destroy Portland. Ultimate Zetaman, with the help of the native Zetaman, stopped the space force.
